"I must say, I am extremely happy with the Canon SX200. I am like a kid in a candy store because I can look forward to many years of learning how to perfect all these cool features! I'm extremely satisfied with the results I've gotten. So satisfied, I decided to write a brief SX200 review!

I love the automatic mode, because the SX200 picks up what your subject is and selects the correct mode. It is uncanny how accurate it is!

When a room is pretty dark, the camera compensates for all the light coming from the window. I was really delighted. The size is perfect to put in my purse, so I can whip it out for important shots.

I definitely plan on taking the Canon SX200 IS on vacation with me. The 28-336mm lens is so cool, and their is no lens cap to mess with! I have gotten some great macro shots, and they are stunning! To think that I almost bought the SD990IS!"

"I was immediately able to use the Canon SX200 even though I have barely used a camera before! I am a perfect candidate for the "easy" function where all that is required is to hit the shutter button.

The SX200 IS does everything else for you! Believe it or not, hints/tips appear on the screen as you shoot. It is like having an instructor with you while you shoot!

For the accomplished "shutter bug", you can take advantage of a complete manual function. This allows you to create your own aperture, shutter, and ISO values. The camera really appealed to me because I can use all the advanced manual functions, and my daughter can just point and "click!"
